Perry Sandhills: Sie wachsen in
der Wüste im Sand. Sehen aus wie
Melonen sind aber etwas vom bit-
tersten auf der Welt. Diese Früch-
te wurden mit den aus Afganistan
stammenden Kamele nach
Australien gebracht. Sie dienten
damal als Futter für die Tiere.
They grow in the desert sand. They
look like small rock melons. But, if
you bite into one, you experience
the most bitter taste there is on
earth. Only camels and few other
animals can eat hem. They came
with the camels from Afghanistan.
